Sarakurayama cable car

As long as the weather is clear, the view is tremendous. One of the best in Japan and still mostly unknown to most.

Can you give bus fare,Bus time table from JR kokura station,JR yahata station.

Hyperdia.com will show the train times between Kokura and Yahata stations which the fare is Y280. Google Maps also shows the various travelling alternatives between Kokura Station and Sarakurayama Cable Station including buses.

Ken-san: yes still not as well known as like Hakodate or Nagasaki which I have been but think it's matter of time. There was a group of Korean tourists on an organised tour were in the same cable car going up. Maybe will expect more of this kind of tourism in future. The only that kept most visitors away from the observatory platform was the brutally strong cold winds when I was there last month as they were not properly attired.

Yes, I've noticed more people - especially Chinese.
