Any ideas buying a Ranch dressing in Tokyo? 2019/3/17 21:29
Hi, I am looking for a place where you can get a decent ranch sauce or dressing
Not a sloppy Japanese one but a good Hidden Valley Ranch dressing or so.

I can buy it from Amazon and it is about 3300 yen for 16 oz which is ridiculous.

Does anyone surely know where I can get it in Tokyo?

Thanks

Try National Azabu in Hiroo. Check online first or phone them to make sure they have that brand, but they will have an American brand. As well Nisshin Deli in Azabu Juban, may carry it.

On Amazon it's 3300 for 40 oz, not 16 (or sometimes for a pack of two 16 oz bottles depending on the flavor).

Flying Pig has a set of 2 x 1.18L bottles for 3,800. This is probably the best price per 100ml you will find.

P.S. Don't even bother with the local brands. KewPie and McCormick both sell something they label as "Ranch".. It is not... it is, imo, indistinguishable from Caesar. Black Pepper flavor is overwhelming.

You can also look into making your own:
