Kansai Thru Pass for Japan foreign students?

As it is said in http://www.surutto.com/tickets/kansai_thru_english.htmlThere are following requirements for using this pass. 1.A foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad on a [short stay] entry status. 2.A Japanese national living abroad. 3.A person accompanying those who meet the requirements 1 and 2 above as their guide. I am currently a foreign student, studying in Japan with a 1 year student visa. If I would want to bring my parents (tourists) which fulfills the 1st requirement, does this mean 3 of us are eligible for the Kansai Thru Pass?

Thank you for your prompt reply. This means I have to buy the 3 passes at the same time right? When will the passport verification be done? I am afraid once I purchase the ticket, it may be invalid due to my student visa.
