Takayama Spring Festival 14-15 April 2019

I plan to visit Japan for 15 days via Tokyo starting 02 April, below are the destination places:
Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Nagano, Gero, Takayama (a must on 14-15 April)
Due to the nature of geographical city location and time constrain in Takayama, should I go to Nagoya or Nagano first ?

Go wherever you can find a hotel. With less than a week to go. Your options will be limited.

I recommend an itinerary as below:
Tokyo¨Nagano¨Gero¨Takayama¨Nagoya¨Kyoto
Almost all the hotels in Takayama are fully booked for April 14 and 15.
You may check the hotels in Gero which is about an hour train ride to Takayama.
Have a nice trip!
