Any recommended attractions at Ito

I have a plan to travel to Ito for 2 days ( this weekends or upcoming weekends). I have the following itinerary listed as below:
1) Mount Omuro
2) Izu Shaboten Zoo
3) Jogasaki suspended bridge
I love to see the scenery of this area, but I'm unsure if this is the right period to visit or avoid it. I do not have any plan to do onsen though. Any recommended places?

Ito City does not have heaps to do, but there is plenty nearby. There's also lots of festivals that pop up as well. Traveling by bus is the best way of getting around normally. Tokai bus company has prepared some useful brochures which are linked below: https://www.tokaibus.jp/page.jsp?id=6241The Jogasaki Coast walk is quite nice, along with Mt Omuro. I tend to use Ito as a base for the Izu Peninsula. K's House in Ito also has nice rooms as well (one of the few places I spruik)....
