Tokyo Wide Pass Purchase at Narita 2019/5/10 09:40
I'm looking to purchase Tokyo Wide Passes for my party and have been told by sales agents that they are not available for sale outside of Japan. Our flight arrives at Narita at 6:30 pm and the JR Travel Service Center is only open until 8:00 pm. After that a Ticket Office is open until 9:45 pm. Does anyone know if the Tokyo Wide Pass can be purchased at the Ticket Office as I'm not sure we'll be able to get to the Travel Service Center in time? Thank you.

Do you plan to use the pass from your Day 1?
Even though you on Day 1 may have only less than five hours?

JR Tokyo Wide Passes are available
also at the general JR Ticket Offices
of Narita Airport Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station.
However,
you may have a chance to buy the passes after getting into Tokyo.
Unless you hope to use the pass on Day 1,
you don't have to worry about the closing time of the ticket windows.

JR Tokyo Wide Pass is valid for 3 consecutive calendar days;
the first day for your pass is usually less than 24 hours.

Note
: Currently Narita Airport [NRT] Terminal 3 is not served by railway.
: Narita Station is outside the airport.

Where is your first destination?
Will you head to your hotel in Tokyo?

You cannot buy out side of Japan because you have to show your physical (non-Japanese) passport to the JR East staff in Japan in order to buy. It is quick and easy (depending on queues).

There are a limited number of travel service centres/train stations (12) where you can buy the TWP, not every station.
