Kansai Wide Area pass? 2019/5/18 22:23
Hello!
I have a route plan to cover this pass for 5 days.
Day 1: Trip to Okayama, travel to Kobe. Overnight in Kobe
Day 2: Kobe, walk to Arima onsen
Day 3: Himeji and Shosha Mountain. Overnight in Himeji
Day 4: Trip to Tottori and overnight at Kinosaki onsen
Day 5: Trip to Amanohashidate and overnight in Kyoto.
Can I use the Kansai Wide Area pass? Is there coverage on the entire route?

Day 1: Trip to Okayama, travel to Kobe.

You don't write where you start your trip. If it is Osaka or Kansai Airport, then your trip will be fully covered under the condition that you use only JR trains.

Day 2: Kobe, walk to Arima onsen

Walking from Kobe to Arima Onsen involves climbing and descending Mount Rokko. Unless this is your intention, I recommend to use some other means of transport which won't be covered by the pass (bus is relatively cheap).

Day 3: Himeji and Shosha Mountain. Overnight in Himeji

The bus and ropeway between Himeji Station and Shosha Mountain is not covered.

Everything else is covered.

From Hiroshima, but I will use JR Pass 14 last day to Okayama. From Okayama I will activate the Kansai Wide Area pass.
Can you tell me which train to travel to Tottori and is covered by the Kansai pass?
