IT jobs for foreigners in Japan?

I'm interested in working abroad in IT industry, preferrably in video game development. However, I'm currently stuck on deciding whether I should choose Japan or European countries that have video game industry because I also have to decide which language I must learn first prior to applying to a company. Do video game companies or at least any IT companies in Japan accept foreign workers who have years of experience in software development? I am currently working as a developer who handles programming and testing in my country in Southeast Asia. Is it impossible for me to apply for any video game company based in Japan or should I try looking at Europe?

The competition in the IT sector in Japan is strong but not impossible. There are many companies who hire foreigners (with or without Japanese skills) You just need to find a company who is willing to hire you and you need to offer good skills.
For payment and others I do think Europe is better than Japan. For experience it would be a good Change to work in Japan.
