A working visa means you need a company who is sponsoring you. A company who is willing to hire you for work.
There is no work visa after following a course, unless a company is providing you a job.

While I staying dependent visa can I apply a course? You should be able to attend a course/study on 'Dependent' status. After that, can I get a job visa from this course? Only if you can get employment offer, and the company will sponsor you for change of status from dependent to working(there are different types) depending on your employment/type of work. Attending a course/study WILL NOT get you a 'job visa' but may help you secure/get a work/employment. What is the one year courses situated in Yokohama city? What do you want to study/learn ? Don't think there is course/study that will help you secure an employment after finishing, even if there is it will be mostly in Japanese and cater for unemployed resident. Have you check this site before ? Yokohama Association For International Communications and Exchanges (YOKE) http://yoke.or.jp/english/For your information, http://www.immi-moj.go.jp/english/tetuduki/kanri/shyorui/09.htmlif you want to work you can apply for Application for Permission to Engage in Activity other than that Permitted under the Status of Residence Previously Granted which allow you to work temporary/part-time up to 28 hours per week provided certain conditions are met. You need to make application at immigration bureau office. Once approved and get the permission, then you can start working temporary/part-time.
