Can i apply another COE again?

Hello, all
I like to ask about re-applying COE.
Firstly, I applied COE to work in japan with `A` company. But, there is no reply over 2months.
Now i retired from `A` company and i am not `A` company`s employee anymore. I joined to `B` company. They also want me to work in japan that why i have to apply COE. But, unfortunately i have already applyed COE with `A` company and they don`t cancel the COE process.
My question is "can i apply another COE after one is issued?".

So far I understand is that you can apply only one CoE, at a time.
If you change company you should contact the immigration office you have applied the first CoE and inform the current situation.

BTW, 2 months of waiting is nothing. It takes its time. There isnft a rule but it seems about 3 months is quite common.
