Is Nov suitable time to visit Yakushima

Hi
We would like to visit Kyushu in particular Yakushima. I read that therefs a lot of rains on Yakushima the whole year round and at times typhoon at Kyushu.
Is the 2nd half of Nov a suitable period to visit Kyushu and Yakushima? We would like to do some hiking on Yakushima. Thanks

We visited one Oct several years ago, had to cut it short due to the incoming typhoon. I think Nov would be fine, will probably still some rainy days.
