Summer of Olympics

Hi guys!
I've wanted to make a Summer Hokkaido + Kyushu/Okinawa trip for the longest time.
This year is unfortunately not possible so it probably will be the next summer (2020).
The Olympics will take place from July 24th to August 9th.
Do you expect the prices to be ridiculously high even if i decide to go in late June and avoid Tokyo?
Your advice is much appreciated.

Tokyo isnt near any of the places you wish to visit. Hotel prices shouldn't change too much.
If you fly into Tokyo. I'd expect ticket prices to be much higher.
