Hi! I will be travelling to Japan from 23rd October to 29th October this Fall and I was hoping to get some advice on my itinerary:
23: Narita to Kanazawa (afternoon arrival)
24-25: Kanazawa/Takaoka/Kurobe Gorge
26: Kanazawa to Nagano (via Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route)
27: Nagano/Yamanouchi
28: Nagano/Togakushi
29: Nagano to Matsumoto to Haneda (midnight departure)
The main part I'm looking for help with is the transport during this period. I'm thinking of getting the JR Hokuriku Arch Pass(7days), Tateyama Kurobe Option Ticket(26th), Snow Monkey Pass(27th) and the Togakushi Kogen Free Kippu(28th).
Am I right to think these passes are correct for my itinerary or are there better options?
Would appreciate any other information you deem relevant too.
