Most visitors do barely speak a word of Japanese. If only those who spoke Japanese would go to Japan, there would be nearly no international tourism.
Enjoy your trip to Kyushu!

Enjoy. You will be fine. Fukuoka is a lovely place and does see a lot of tourists with limited Japanese.

Japanese are accommodating and many speak English. Most signage around Japan is in English also. You'll have no problems in Fukuoka.

In most tourist places there will be signage in English. It is unlikely you will venture too far from the usual spots and end up in one of the many locations without any English - there are many many locations like that, but you won't be heading there.
