How to become a pediatrician in Japan? 2019/6/28 15:47
Hello I'm from Malaysia and I'm 17 years old. I wish to become a pediatrician doctor in Japan. Is it possible for foreigners to become a pediatric who treats children over there? How do I become a pediatrician in Japan ?

1) Learn Japanese to total fluency
2) Study medicine in Japan

Try contacting the doctor above, she's a Malaysian, runs a clinic n Tokyo.
Maybe she can give you a pointer or two.

As other said, your Japanese need to be more than fluent (native?) in order to pass the exam and practice in Japan.
You could try for Japanese Govt. scholarship program Monbukagakusho/MEXT route, as per above doctor.

Are you able and capable of becoming a doctor in your own country - it's not easy. And, pediatrics is a tough specialisation.
Getting accepted into medical school in Japan also isn't too easy (especially when they rig the entrance exams). Would you be able to pass the university entrance exam in Japanese?
