How to get a Japanese virtual number

Hello,
I need to get a Japanese phone number so I can call with it and also verify my number.

Skype isn't good for that,
I wanted to use SMARTtalk but I also need a Japanese phone number to verify and get a new number...

Are you a resident in Japan or only visiting?

$10 says neither, OP is living outside Japan but wants to use some sort of online service that is restricted to residents of Japan and requires phone number verification.

I am moving to Japan in a month, but I need a phone number before I move there unfortunately.

If I was already in Japan I wouldn't ask this question.

Mobal is a good service but their sims cards don't work outside of Japan, so I can't use it before I am in Japan.

Maybe there is no way to get a phone number before moving, so I will probably have to ask a friend I guess...

Without a resident in Japan you cannot get a number.
All number are register to prevent fraud.

If you know someone in Japan you can ask for a prepaid.
Prepaid needs to be activated first in Japan.
But use outside Japan is expensive,
(and no 100% guarantee is works)
