How to learn conversational Japanese? 2019/8/10 05:19
Hi,
I am interested in building conversational Japanese skills. I have used Duolingo and searched for other resources, but I think an audio or video chat tool would be great. Can anyone recommend a good resource?

I am a Japanese born in Kyoto. I am glad that you are interested in Japan. In many cases, Japanese people only register Facebook and do not log in. Communication exclusively uses an app called LINE. But the line doesn't have the ability to look for nearby people or specific communities. Japanese people are shy. Finding friends at sports clubs, gyms, bars, etc. is a shortcut, but it will be difficult if you are not in Japan

Check out the learning links on Japan Foundation in the UK. Some are written-language based but there are lots of short videos, etc. that you can use to practice. Lots of them are free. This is the main link:
