We plan to stay in Yufuin for two nights and will visit Beppu on New Year's Day. In Yufuin, will Yufuin Floral Village, Artegio and Trick 3D Art open on 31 December 2019? In Beppu, will all the Hell locations open for visit on New Year's Day 2020? Also, will the bus run regularly between Yufuin and Beppu on 1 January 2020? Thank you.

The floral street is just a street. Individual shops may or may not be open. The 3D art place should be open. Website says the are open all year round. Close for typhoons etc etc. I used google to find and translate their website. http://www.trick3dart-yufuin.com/?page=menu1As for the buses. Again they should be running also. And if you google the bus company website, you should be able to find their contact details.

According to the official website of the Hells, they are open every day (年中無休) - no days off. http://www.beppu-jigoku.com/fee/index.htmlAll but 2 are very close to each other - either next door or a few minutes walk. https://youtu.be/K2NNi8MLcXMIf you see the last two (the Chinoike-Jigoku or Blood Pond Hell & Tatsumaki-Jigoku or "Tornado" Geyser Hell), go to the Geyser Hell first and find out when the next eruption is - it goes off every 30-40 minutes or so. Then if you have the time, see the Blood Pond Hell first to avoid wasting time.
