Thank you. On the Imperial Palace site it is written that early registration may help.So is it o.k to be at the gate one hour before opening? and is it possible to visit all garden? thank you

If you refer to the Sento Palace, Katsura Villa or Shugakuin Villa, yes, then you need advance reservations. But if you refer to the "Kyoto Imperial Palace", then there is no need for advance reservations or lining up early. You can see the palace's gardens, but cannot enter any buildings.
