Snow tires needed from Dec to Jan?

Hi, I intend to rent a car for my trip to these areas from 24 December to 3 January.
Would I need to have snow tires for these areas or are we safe to be without snow tires?
What is the snowfall situation like around these areas during the time period?
I would be driving a Honda Fit.
Starting from Osaka
- Kyoto/Nara
- Kinosaki (1 day 1 night)
- Okayama/ Takamatsu (1 day 1 night each)
- Iya Valley (1 day 1 night)
- Tokushima (1 day 1 night)
- Kobe (2 nights)
Back to Osaka
It is not the first time we are driving in Japan but it will be the first time we are driving in these areas.
Any advice is appreciated!

There is a chance of snow especially in the Kinosaki and Iya Valley areas. I recommend to get snow tires.

Thank you for the advise!
I am trying to book with Tocoo but it seems their snow tire plans are not available yet. So will wait a while.
Looking at my schedule and places to visit, do you think a Japan Expressway Pass or San'in-Setouchi-Shikoku Expressway Pass （SEP）is recommended?
It seems there are enough smaller IC roads to avoid tolls.
