Mt Fuji weather forecast

Hi,

Planning on taking the Tokaido Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo. Is there a weather forecast or website tracking available for Mt. Fuji to advise if it would be a good day to go visit? Wondering if I should stop by Shizuoka to explore or just go straight to Tokyo. Hoping to catch a good view from Miho beach and some good eats.

Morning is best. There is no way to predict weather for Mt. Fuji as it generates its own weather. It could be totally cloud-free everywhere and Fujisan can be obscured by the clouds it generates. It is very difficult to predict. Just hope for the best.

As has already been mentioned - morning is best. Winter is also the time of year when there is more clear weather but as mentioned previously it's almost impossible to predict if it's easily seen
