Recommendation for ryokan at Aso and Yufuin

Hi! I'm looking for a ryokan for 2 nights' stay near Aso, as a base for visiting Takachiho Gorge, Aso and Kuju Mountains. And another ryokan when i drive up to Yufuin area.
Any recommendations for a good and reasonable priced ryokan? Will probably need breakfast and dinner, unless there are restaurants nearby. If dinner is included, buffet types are fine (don't have to be kaiseki dinners).

At Yufuin we stayed at Hanamura. It is a hotel style ryokan but we really enjoyed it. Nice people, great location, great food, good onsen. https://www.yufuin-hanamura.jp/ We would go back for sure.
