We will be traveling for around three weeks and will be having our meals at restaurants. But as an emergency if we reach the hotels late and are tired to go out I plan to carry a few things with me. Please let me know if these are allowed. They will be all sealed packets with the names on them in small quantity.

Prawn pickle
Indian paratha/flat bread
Spicy chilly paste
Vegetarian instant noodles
Vegetarian instant soup

The vegetarian noodles n soup is because my husband is a pure vegetarian and the packets you get there will not have anything written in English

Thanks in advance

You mean getting them through customs?

This might help. https://www.au.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_en/visa_quarantine_en.html

I understand your concern. But even if you fail to bring in certain foods to Japan, you can always go shop at Indian grocery stores that are located in the cities, so that you can keep your stock in your room. Organic food stores also carry instant vegetarian meals. If you can tell us the area you are staying at (like the nearest train station), perhaps someone on the forum can provide you information about shops. I hope you have fun in Japan!

Thank you very much for your replies.
I guess we will stick to having our meals at restaurants.
