Taking levetiracetam to Japan 2019/9/30 21:11
I'm going to Japan for 2 weeks in December. I'm starting to freak out because I really don't understand what I'm supposed to do. My main language is not English and I find it really hard to find any information about this situation. So can I travel with my epilepsy medicine, which is levetiracetam to Japan if I have to take two 500 mg pills every day? Is normal reception enough to bring these medicines?

Hi. I don't believe you will have a problem. Levetiracetam (Keppra) is an approved medicine in Japan.

Just in case, I recommend you also get a letter from your doctor to take with you.
