Visit Shirakawago between Jan 2 - 4 2020

Hi, We are planning to vist Shirakawago as a day trip from kanazawa by bus on one of the days between Jan 2nd and 4th 2020. Will teh bus services operating on these days as I have heard they might not be operating. If the bus is not operating is there an alternative service we could use which is not too expensive? Will SHirakawago be open for visit between Jan 2 and Jan 5th?
