Hi,
I'm planning a 6 day trip to travel from Tokyo to Nikko, then to Tochigi. From Tochigi will go to Kawagoe and finally to Chichibu area to visit Misotsuchi no Tsurara. From Chichibu area will return to Tokyo.
Are there any train passes that I could get to cover all the above mentioned area of travel outside
of Tokyo ?

You can Buy Greater Tokyo pass 5 Day=7200 yen.

If you travel from Tokyo to Nikko to Tochigi to Kawagoe to Chichibu to Tokyo, normal (relatively fast) route will include JR line, especially from Tochigi to Kawagoe. The total normal fare will be less than 7000 yen, so you might better buy Suica (or Welcome Suica).

I checked the Greater Tokyo Pass website, the 5 days pass is it a promotion only for travel during the period of Oct 16 to Nov 30 ? I'm planning to travel end Jan 2020. So I can only get the 3 days pass, right ?
Or can I get the promotional pass now and still be able to travel for 5 days end Jan 2020 ?

Yes,you are correct. This promotional pass valid from Oct 16 to Nov 30,
2019.But when you visit,this promotional pass can come again in 2020.
