I am an exchange student and currently livingin Japan. I forgot to leave money in my bank account due to some expenses. And they didn't get the lasts month payment. If I have a money in there, would they automatically deduct the last month payment and this month payment?
I need an answer. Thanks ik advanced.

As far as I know/have experienced, they attempt once to debit the amount from your registered bank account. Then if they canft, they will send you a paper invoice (reminder) informing you that you need to pay to continue staying in the health insurance. They usually send a slip that you can take to a convenience store/bank/postal bank to pay in person. But if you are in Japan and want to be sure about it, I would go to the ward/city hall to ask what would happen.
