Be aware that just buying a car you need to prepare paperwork including proof of valid parking area

(Purely out of curiosity), do you need to prove you have a parking space when you buy a car in Japan?

Japanese law requires motorists to prove they have access to a local parking space in order to register a car on name. If the car is for export than it is different situation because you will not use the car in Japan.
