Sent box with many snacks and cosme

I sent a box with many snacks, chocolate, cosme, daiso's products and one old smartphone to my family.

I sent it by boat, it will take so long to arrive but it was the cheapest way.

At the post they asked me to write what is inside the box, as it is tooo many small things, I just wrote it is sweets, chocolate note book , key holder and small gifts.


I wonder if it will be ok...
Anyone have experienced sending things by post?

i sent box to my bf from Turkey to japan, i also sent many snacks and sweets and nothing went wrong he successfully received the package, so hopefully there will be no problem.

Did you send it from Japan to Turkey?

I am living in Japan, I heard they are a bit strict and also at post office they asked if I wrote everything that I have inside the box, which I didnt.

I hope my parcel will go safe without trouble like yours 😌

I have sent my parcel 26 of October, I am tracking it buy since 27 at 00:30 it says Arrival at outward office of exchange.
No update as of now.
What does that means?
I wonder if it wont leave japan...

It means nothing. SAL EMS land? What method of shipping did you use?

IT just hasn't been scanned at it's next location. And 2 days without updates isn't abnormal for international shipping

I have send it through SAL.
I know it's common to go days without update, but not from the start.
Most of the time after living Japan, I get no update for awhile.
But this time I have sent too many things to my family, I didn't describe evening, so I am a bit worried they might refuse to ship it after scan...

So you must have sent it registered sal then if you have tracking. And sal is very slow. Only moves when there is space available. So again 2 days without update appears normal.

I have send it surface "船便" , I think it might be even slower?
