Really? Unimaginably cheap you say? Manuka Honey from Costco Japan costs a little under 10,000 JPY/kg. In Australia it sells for less than half that price.

I take Honey from Melbourne Australia to Japan several times a year as a gift for friends..never had a problem..should always be in a correctly labeled Jar .. as with any commercial foods you are taking int Japan. I will be visiting Japan this mid November and will take Chololates, Honey and Coffee as gifts..they are always appreciated.

...I meant to add that Australian and New Zealand Honey is sold in Japan at selective stores...as is Honey from other countries..
