Can you please advise on the below:
1. Is there is any late evening (or) sleepover trains from Tokyo to Sapporo?
2. Snow resorts near Hakodate in mid of April?

Sadly all the overnight trains from Tokyo to Sapporo were canceled when the Shinkansen lines expanded into Hokkaido.
If you've looked it up, you've probably seen that the trip is about 8 hours long. That's a long time to be sitting still on a train in my opinion.... Why not stop in Hakodate for a bit before continuing to Sapporo since it sounds like you want to visit there anyway?
