No.
https://www.jr-odekake.net/eki/premises.php?id=0621924Most trains fr KIX will be stopping at platform No.3 usual, but not all, some trains will be at No.2 or 1.
The train annoucemnet like this, skip to 7:18, red subs starts fr JP, EN, Chinese and Korean.
https://youtu.be/6qFM4vR6woQBut this is recorded automatic one only, means may not conductor's arrival platform number info in EN.
Recent years conductors who provide transfer info in EN has increased, but not all.
So u should ask at JR-WEST(rail company) ticket office colored in blue ASAP.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw7WZ_1PBTQIf u have to move to the next platform(island) by stairs or elevator, it takes less than 2 mins no worry.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuHJhdAUbXoKIX 0:00 to Hineno 14:00, this train stopped platform No.3.
BUT, why transfer at Hineno stn???
If u take Nankai ferry fr Wakayama-ko port) to Tokushima-ko port(east side pref of Shikoku),
u should take "Nankai" train instead of "JR" train.
https://goo.gl/maps/2mdeRGmsEkKtzUZo8https://nankai-ferry.co.jp/Or, it is quicker and easier to enter Shikoku by highway(ExpWay) bus fr KIX.

However, I may understand if u must use JR's rail Pass.
