Hi,
I went to Japan and Okinawa in late July last year and also went there a few years ago in May and planning to return in mid to late June next year, before the hoardes of tourists to the Tokyo Olympic Games.
As it seems, the rainy period is passed in June in the Okinawa region. Is it a good idea to go there by then or would the tourist stream have raised a lot by then?
When I went to Okinawa in July it was a lot of tourists and roads were packed. But in May it was nearly deserted. But they say the weather is worse in May than June and July.
Any suggestions for my upcoming trip?
