Gardens in Kagoshima Pref

Hi All,
In Jan I'll be visiting Kagoshima prefecture for a bit over a week and will also be hiring a car to explore the outer areas as well. I've seen most of what's considered the major gardens in Japan but am looking for anything that others may be aware of. At present I'll be visiting:
Sengen-en Amami no Sato (Southern Kagoshima City) Kiyomizu Magaibutsu (not sure if this is considered a garden until I visit) Chiran Samurai Residences Flower Park Kagoshima
I'm aware that January is not the best time for gardens - but I might see some very early plum blossoms at least. Anything else people are aware of in the form of good gardens would be appreciated

Thanks for the info Rabbityama.
I've just added the Tei Garden to my list. It adds to my last day in Kagoshima which is really hodge podge (all over the place)
Start @ Iriki: Iriki Local Museum, Fumoto Residence, Masuda Residence, Satsuma Student Museum, Kyuden Nuclear Museum, Armor Replica, Tei Garden & then drop off car in Kagoshimachuo station. I don't know how I'll fill a whole day with this!

Thanks for the list.
Just added Kenko-no-mori, Yoshino Park + Senganbira to my list. Some look like they are a good short stop - others a bit longer....
