Best spot for nature trip, Nov. 29

I'm having a day off on 11/29 and can't decide for a spot to travel to that day.
I'd go by car max 3hrs from Tokyo (Ichikawa actually).
Best would be some autumn leaves hiking (I'm intermediate level), but guess it's all over now?
Any suggestions? 🤔
Except Tsukuba-san I'm up for anything.

Momiji in kanto area is just about starting now. So end November should be peak in several places. Check suggestions for places here: https://koyo.walkerplus.com/migoro/ar0300/関東 kanto 地図 map 今見頃 current viewing status (or select a month) Enjoy your day off. Note that some momiji sports can be very crowded so car might not be the best. Depending on destination.
