How to connect AFN on Japanese TV

I have an Maxzen TV and I live on a US military base. Ifm in process of moving and my TV thatfs packed connects to AFN immediately from the cable. I canft seem to scan to find channels or know where to go. I get the Attena connection window that pops up on screen but the building i live in has it set up, does anyone know how I can scan for channels or what to do?
