Is JR Takayama-Hokuriku cover to Kiso Valley?

Hello
I have tried to search forum already
Normal JR Pass can be used from Takayama to Nagano and Kiso valley
However i am not sure whether JR Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass will also cover this route. As far as I look for information, it only cover JR limited express trains between Nagoya | Toyama station (via Tokaido/Takayama lines), between Kanazawa | Kyoto station | stations within Osaka City area.
