Bus from Imabari to Hiroshima

Hi, kindly advise how can I travel from Imabari to Hiroshima by bus. There is a schedule from Shimanami Liner (highway bus) between Hiroshima and Imabari, at 3,400yen. Seems like only one way from Hiroshima to Imabari, kindly advise can I take that bus back to Hiroshima from Imabari?
If yes: How can I reserve bus ticket?
If unable to, please advise on how to travel by bus from Imabari to Hiroshima?

It seems that the web page of the bus company hasn't been updated in some time, but definitely the bus goes also back to Hiroshima. Per this page, you can buy tickets at conbini: https://www.hiroko-group.co.jp/kotsu/kousoku/shimanami/yoyaku.htm(scroll to the bottom and then click on the link with the conbini names on it) Use Google translate to navigate, or go to a conbini and ask someone to help you. Internet reservation seems also to be possible: https://secure.j-bus.co.jp/hon (note that it is open only from 5 am to 2 am JP time) This is the (outdated) bus schedule.
