Hi,
I am going to Shirakawago village next week and want to know where can I purchase the entrance ticket into one of the gassho houses. Which gassho house is the best to visit ?

I recommend Wada house whose admission fee is 300 yen per person. You can pay admission fee at the entrance of the house.

They are 300 yen each, but one is enough. I usually visit Kanda house. The ground floor pictures/displays are nice (and free) and upstairs are implements from farming and sericulture (silk-production).
