One Liter of Tears Filming Location 2020/1/17 07:35
Does anyone know where One Liter of Tears was filmed? The park, the school, the foot bridge, Aya's House
Does anyone know where Kimi No Todoke E was filmed? The road where they met.
Does anyone know where the house of Kaori in Rurouni Kenshin is located?
Does anyone know the wood where Little Forest was filmed?

Thanks. I will check this once I got home. I've been planning to go to Japan and those places are where I wanted to really go. They are memories to me so they matter more than the regular tourist places.

Hi William. I am definitely excited to visit more places with my childhood memory. I am so happy to also meet someone (even in net) who has interest with the places which I do.

Hi Orudo Misu, we love and are deeply moved by gOne Litre of Tearsh hence the quest for some of its location sites. Do let me know if you want more information and we are happy to share our experience and the limited reference we have gathered. Apart from the 4 mentioned sites we have gone for some more and one we could never forget is the church where on wheelchair Aya turned and looked passionately up at Haruto Asō as the sound of the church bell.

For this time, I'll visit first Kumamoto because according to https://www.theinvisibletourist.com/best-time-to-visit-japan-for-cherr... and https://www.insidejapantours.com/japanese-destinations/kumamoto/ and https://www.insidejapantours.com/cherry-blossom/, the cherry blossom starts in the south and they don't have much person during those times

Then we'll go by Tokyo by April

Are you going for cherry blossom in Kyushu during the latter part of March !? If so donft miss Maizuru Park in Fukuoka. With the Fukuoka Castle remains it looks beautiful especially during the light-up Sakura Festival in late March.

Another place we enjoyed a lot during our late March road trip in Kyushu was Huis ten Bosch. We werenft into theme park but really loved the tulip fields there. Their colourful tulip festival starts as early as February.

And during the evening you can also go for its spectacular illumination event.

Re: One Liter of Tears Filming Location 2020/2/5 07:11
Hi William. The reason why we prefer to go down south is because the cherry blossom according to the review bloom earlier in the south as their temp and climate is much milder and north is around April. According to the song sangatsukokonaka which is March 9, the OST of One Liter of Tears, cherry blossoms already which is why I chose second week of March to visit Japan and chose the Kyushu Island and preferably I'll visit the places within the circumference of wherever I will stay. That is my current dilemma because I am looking for cheapest hotel in Kumamoto area. The next time I'll visit Japan, I'll visit alone and I will go to all One Liter of Tears shooting location. This time I have with me my neighbour and my classmate so I consider her first and I wanted to prepare enough funds on my next visit so I can really roam around

For now, I will focus in this area https://www.google.com/travel/things-to-do/see-all?g2lb=2502548%2C4208... and exhaust all sites but we will drop by in that tulip place :)
