Me and my husband want a day trip to Hakone for hot spring. I have 3 decorative tattoo at my back. Will I be able to go to the onsen resort? Thank you.

It depends on the establishment. Some have a no-tattoo policy. Using a private bath would allow you not to have to worry about the tattoo and to bathe together.
