Hokkaido mid-late June too early? 2020/1/24 18:55
Hi.

Last time I went to Hokkaido was in late July, having quite hot weather even up in the northeastern regions.

I am in Japan arriving about 20th June, leaving just before Olympics around 22nd of July.

I have made arrangements for an apartment in Tokyo suburbs but I consider doing a week in Hokkaido at least, as well as a week in Okinawa.

Would mid-late June be too early to go considering temperature and weather? They say it's rainy season in rest of Japan by that time.

Too early for what? June is good in Hokkaido.

It might be too early for the best of the wildflowers, but it can be beautiful weather at this time. It does rain, but they don't tend to get tsuyu or the rainy season like down south. It's a good time to visit.
