Japanese Alpine route

We are planing to be in the Japanese Alpine last week of Nov 2020. Is the route will be open? Is there only one direction to do the route, from Toyama to Shinano Omachi only or also the oposite? Where do i find the schedule of bus/train/cable car etc.?

One particularly useful section of the website is the schedule planner - great for estimating trip times and choosing connections. I wouldn't rely on it 100% though; it's always best to fine-tune using the full timetables (also available on the same site).
