Transit at Gobo Station to Kii-Tanabe

I will be travelling from Wakayama to Kii-Tanabe via Gobo after 5pm next week. According to the timetable, I will only have 2 mins to transit between platforms at Gobo Station. Does anyone know that how I can quickly find the right platform and train to catch in such short transiting time? Thanks.

Do you mean the 17:18 Kuroshiro train? It rides through.
If you mean the slower 17:23 train, the connection at Gobo is from the same platform. So no problem to catch the connection.
Japanese trains are timed to very short connections.
Enjoy your trip to Wakayama prefecture.
