In Fukuoka on 8 May, is the garden open?

Saw on the website that ticketing period is 24 Apr to 6 May. Does that mean is is closed on 8 May?

Garden? Tickets? Are you talking about the Fuji Karachi Wisteria Gardens? If that is the case, I am guessing that they will be open, and that it will not require getting tickets in advance.
I visited the wisteria gardens before they became so popular, that entrance had to scheduled in advance. Nice bath just below the the gardens. I recommend going to both, if you can.
