April 2020 Trip 2020/3/4 08:34
Morning All!

I am planning to arrive on the 1st April to see the last of the Sakura season this year in Tokyo.

Staying in the Akasaka area. Just wondering what everyone is thinking with the situation at the moment? I am not planning on cancelling my trip unless advised to do so directly by AUS government or other source. I understand there are Hanami cancellations but I am not letting that deter me from seeing Tokyo in this season.

Any thoughts and input would be appreciated!

Bon voyage! Enjoy Japan!
Would be nice if you are able to share your Japan moment in this forum while you are in Japan.

What input are you looking for, specifically? Like you said, your government hasn't changed its travel advice for Japan so just go and enjoy yourself like you normally would. I'm sure you're already aware of the precautions you should take (which aren't much different to the basic hygiene procedures you should follow every day anyway regardless of weird illnesses). Just relax and have a good time.
