How to open a bank account in America?

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how to open a U.S. bank account while living in Japan? In order to open an account in Florida they need a state ID (mine expired a long time ago) and a U.S. address. I have no intensions on living in America. I just need the bank account to buy a house. I was told I can`t send money from my Japanese bank to buy the house. Also I cant send money using transferwise because they have restrictions on the amount that can be sent. What if I open an account with a U.S. bank in Japan? would it be possible to open an account with that same bank in America? Thanks for all your help!
