Chubu region during golden week

Hi everyone,

I�fm planning a trip to Japan and I expect to be in the Chubu region during Golden week.
I want to try to avoid the crowds during that period. Are there any cities or places I should either definitely avoid or that you�fd recommend for being very nice, but also probably won�ft attract as many people during Golden week?

Also, would there be a specific amount of weeks or months you'd recommend me book beforehand, or could I book last minute in this region (probably not, right? ;) )

generelly japanese people tend more to book beforehand, especially during golden week. but of course there will be always places to be found regarless.
