Be kind to yourself 2020/8/29 23:29
Can ‘be kind to your sled’ be directly translated into Japanese, if so how ?

“Be kind to yourself” would be (rather literally translated) 自分に優しく (be gentle with yourself). “Jibun ni yasashiku.”

I just wonder what you are going to use it for. I just want to be sure that it would not be misunderstood as "(I am someone) who is kind to myself (but strict to others)" kind of declaration.

This phrase would be a good empathetic phrase to say to someone who is blaming themselves for something they feel they've done wrong, or pushing themselves too hard.
