All of my friends are using LINE Mobile. I wanted to sign up, but the website says they are no longer accepting new applicants and that current applicants won't be transferred to SoftBank contracts without permission. Does that mean LINE Mobile and SoftBank are combining? https://mobile.line.meHowever, when I Googled some more, I found another website that was still accepting new applicants. It looks the exact same as what the other website looked like. Is it legit? And if so, what is the difference?! I'm so confused... https://www.linemo.jp

Yes
Line Mobile is bought buy softbank group and discontinued the service.
I think people have contract already can keep using it, but new user have choice only LINEMO now.
